Let's Get Better at Pickleball Together!
Hello. My name is Jason Gerlach and I am based in beautiful Boulder, CO.
After over four decades as an avid, and sometimes competitive, athlete in tennis, soccer, skiing, and various endurance sports, I picked up a pickleball paddle for the first time in June 2023.
Since then, I have trained continuously at Boulder Pickleball, where I am now a certified IPTPA Level I and II Coach and the Director of Competition. I am USTA Safeplay Certified and in the process of completing DUPR Rating Certification as well.
I have been playing pickleball competitively since learning the sport and have reached the podium in over a dozen tournaments in singles, mixed doubles, and men's doubles at the 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5 DUPR levels.
Beyond pickleball, I am an experienced business and philanthropic leader with degrees from Cornell University and the University of Wisconsin, and a certificate in financial organization leadership from Harvard Business School. In addition, I successfully coached a range of youth sports and led Girl Scout Troop 1070 in Southern California for nearly a decade.
With a high-energy, action and competition-oriented coaching style, I have helped dozens of players of all levels of play improve their games, prepare for tournaments, and more. You can read many of their testimonials below.
